Speaking to an audience of over 100 global car rental suppliers, Darren and Heather showcased how CarTrawler is taking substantial leaps in the area of CRM to drive greater engagement with the car rental product. One of CarTrawler’s specialties is unlocking opportunities to cross-sell car hire and CRM car rental placements are one of the simplest avenues to adding an additional revenue stream. With 10% of current car reservations originating through CRM, this is a key funnel for increasing brand reach and driving engagement with strategic campaigns.
Over 53% of all CarTrawler’s CRM emails are opened on mobile devices and this has informed the teams’ approach to their design and content, to be mobile-first. Iterations of tests are consistently revised and refined to deliver the most effective, best-in-class car rental campaigns.
The backbone of driving this engagement is offering up compelling content to customers, in the form of exclusive offers or deals. This is key to leveraging the database of airline and travel partners so CarTrawler can deliver the greatest value to their business. And with 10% of all car rental reservations currently made through email campaigns, there is huge potential to roll this out to more of its partners.
