CarTrawler’s technology platform processes over 11,500,000 unique searches through its API every day. The CarTrawler platform aggregates over 1,600 global car rental suppliers and serves up a bespoke search result of 300 cars for customers – all in under 2 seconds.
CarTrawler’s Product and Technology team are organised across cross-functional pods, tasked with the responsibility of creating a 360-degree view of CarTrawler’s three-sided marketplace for partners, suppliers and customers. This team works to develop and refine an end-to-end, automated solution that builds a scalable and sustainable technology platform.
Customer problems are rooted in the day-to-day processes of Product and Technology, with the team working to demystify the process of renting a car. With the gradual shift to mobile, a simplification of this purchasing process is a key focus for CarTrawler. The team views the customer life cycle holistically and designs in a way to capture their attention, nudging towards the path to purchase and ensure the process is as simple as possible.
