CarTrawler stayed true to its roots as an innovative technology company by sponsoring The Lions’ Den at the MEGA APAC event in Bangkok. This stellar panel of Lions included: Pacino Peng Qin, Manager of Ancillary Revenue at Hong Kong Airlines, Jasel Payawal, Manager of Distribution Systems at Fly Scoot and Nik Laming, General Manager of Loyalty at Cebu Pacific. Meanwhile, the ringmaster who ushered the startups into the Lions’ Den was Ai’s Managing Director, Michael Smith. CarTrawler’s very own Head of Independent Supply, Simon Ward closed the event by illustrating the link between the Lions’ Den and CarTrawler’s commitment to innovation. This session succeeded in showcasing some of the most innovative business models to the tenured Lions.
In the end, however, there could only be one winner and Comarch emerged victorious for best pitch. As an R&D focused company, Comarch spearheads research and development necessary for the maintenance of its wide variety of product lines across the world.
CarTrawler’s Lions’ Den supports forward-focused innovations and this years’ lineup showcased a dynamic group of participants.
