Desktop Booking Engine
A complete web-based car rental booking engine for corporate and leisure travel agents. It combines a flexible car rental search tool with the ability for individual agents to mark the price up or down based on the selling environment. This allows travel agencies to be incentivized not only by the number of bookings but also by the value per booking. In addition, a full Web based management system is provided to allow individual level reporting. Performance of individual office branches can also be reported on separately.
Real time Management System
Provides customers with transparency in every transaction and monitors the marketplace to ensure the customer offer remains competitive, whilst maintaining yield and pricing. Supports unique business rules, business activity monitoring providing powerful, real-time analytics, predictive alerting and unprecedented levels of business insight and availability. This allows customers a view of their demand, bookings and associated revenue on real time configurable dashboards which update every six seconds. The system allows the customer to drilldown right down to individual booking level, search data and report on it using a very flexible and intuitive user interface.
Web Management System
An easy-to-use web based high level view of progress for the last 12 months in terms of both bookings and searches. Individual bookings can also be viewed. Provides a unique set of online resources that gives customers full visibility over every aspect of their account at all times. The system is divided into several segments, including reporting, account management and site management. The reporting section is capable of providing detailed reports such as a booking report, a revenue report, a top locations report and a repeat bookings report. The account management section gives customers access to company details, partnership accounts, child sub accounts and bank account details. In the site management section, customers can change site content, choose a site template and modify colors, currency or country location etc. on booking engines.
Direct Connect Feed
Enables connectivity in real time to over 95% of traffic, with access to over 550 car rental suppliers worldwide, in 25,000 airport and city locations, in 175 countries in 29 languages and multiple currencies. This is provided at a sub-second response time and real-time direct connect with suppliers guarantees the best pricing and choice, independent of booking lead times. Most of the CarTrawler Suppliers are supported by a single dedicated Direct Connect Provider, which provides a redundant data link directly to the suppliers' reservation system. This link is used by the CarTrawler Accelerate™ core system to provide real-time bookings and availability (where applicable) on that supplier. Bookings can be placed directly onto the car rental companies' reservation systems within an hour of pickup time.
