Gregory J Turley, CEO and Co-Founder

CarTrawler is a privately owned global car rental distribution company that was established in 2004 by Greg and Niall Turley. Having worked for over 25 years in the car hire industry in Europe, Greg Turley gained the knowledge and insight to develop and implement the effective reservation distribution strategies that provide CarTrawler’s customers with an easy, economical and efficient direct booking service.

CarTrawler has a demonstrable track record for creating booking engine and middleware solutions within the car rental industry. Turley's vision for CarTrawler is to provide the travel industry with the easiest, most cost efficient rental car sale and distribution service through its OTA XML multi supplier direct connect system yield management model. Greg continues to oversee the design and implementation of innovative systems for improved customer service for all CarTrawler partners and their customers.

Niall Turley, Director and Co-Founder

As co-founder of CarTrawler Ltd, Niall has built-up extensive customer service, information technology, accounts and management experience. While working for over 20 years in the car rental industry in both Europe and Australia, Niall developed the skills necessary to implement the successful design and delivery of the technology used by CarTrawler. He is currently responsible for the successful creation, development and management of the systems used to support the overall business strategy of the company.
Niall’s vision for CarTrawler provides an online car hire GNE/GDS which gives maximum benefits across the value chain. This CarTrawler technology allows both large and small travel websites to sell low cost, fully inclusive car rental in over 12,000 locations worldwide. It also offers enormous potential for dynamic cross selling in the online travel industry by allowing airline companies, mega travel agencies, lodgings and other large “packagers” to incorporate car rental products into their overall offering at the touch of a button. Niall also ensures that the company maintains the stable structure that made it posible to achieve its impressive and profitable growth to date.
He continues to design and manage the implementation of innovative systems for improved customer service for all CarTrawler partners and their customers. He is a member of the IIA, VLAI and the SFA.

Bobby Healy, Chief Technical Officer

Healy’s field of expertise is in architecting and implementing effective distribution strategies that offer CarTrawler’s customers rapid, effective solutions for direct consumer bookings. Bobby has an impressive track record in creating booking engine and middleware solutions for the world’s top airlines, airline alliances and mega travel agencies including Star Alliance, Hotwire.com, United Airlines, Air New Zealand, Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines, Mexicana, American Express, Sabre and Rosenbluth International. Healy recently sold the company he founded, Eland Technologies (http://www.elandtech.com), to industry giant SITA (http://www.sita.aero). The solutions he designed and built are now in use by 80% of the world’s top 20 airlines. His move to CarTrawler was a continuation of his mission to reduce distribution costs in the industry, whilst maintaining high margins for the largest travel companies in the world

Mike McGearty, Chief Operating Officer

Mike is a Chartered Management Accountant who joined CarTrawler in 2005. He has overall responsibility for the company’s operational functions and drives the growth of the company through his focused approach to leading technology and clear business strategies.

Prior to CarTrawler, Mike worked for eWare, a leading developer of CRM software which was acquired by the software accounting giant, SAGE plc. During his time at eWare, they successfully implemented their CRM solution for companies such as AVIS, Alliance & Leicester, Computacenter and IONA Technologies.

David Hargaden, non-executive chairman

Mr David Hargaden is a Partner in BDO Simpson Xavier and specialises in chairing fast moving technology companies.
Hargaden would be widely regarded as one of the leading advisers to governments, entrepreneurs and growing owner-manager businesses.
